BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 15. Azerbaijan's energy corridors are reinforcing the country's position as a leader in global sustainable development, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said during the Ministerial Meeting on the COP29 Energy Initiatives, Trend reports.
"Azerbaijan is currently implementing several key projects, including the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe corridor, the Central Asia-Azerbaijan corridor, and the Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Europe corridor. These energy corridors reflect Azerbaijan's commitment not only to increasing energy exports but also to solidifying its role as a leader in global sustainable development.
Green energy zones are a strategic tool for achieving zero emissions. These zones, created in areas rich in renewable resources and focused solely on clean energy use, contribute significantly to attracting investments, ensuring sustainable economic growth, and creating new job opportunities," he said.
