Several Azerbaijani and foreign companies applied for the status of a resident of High Tech Park LLC of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, the company told Trend April 6.
For now, the issue is under consideration and the final decision hasn’t yet been made, according to the company.
“Presently, H-Tech and CRM Group companies have the status of residents of the High Tech Park,” the company noted. “We are interested in attracting new residents to the city innovations center where they will be able to use the necessary technical infrastructure and laboratories for research and development of their ideas and business.”
It was earlier reported that a new innovations center of High Tech Park LLC of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies will be created and commissioned before late 2019.
The new innovations center, with a total area of 7,000 square meters, will be based at the Khatai telecommunications center of Baku Telephone Communications LLC.
All IT companies operating in the center will receive the status of resident, which will allow them to enjoy tax preferences.
