Thirteen burnt corpses were found at Argkankergen frontier in Kazakh Almaty region, Kazinform quotes First Deputy Director of the Border Service of Kazakh National Security Committee, Turganbek Stambekov as saying.
"On May 30, the border post detachment ...of the regional department of the Border Service discovered the burned building of Argkankergen border post, where 15 frontier guards serve in summer time. The burnt 13 people have been found there, including the corpse of hunter of hunting ground near the post," Stambekov said at the special briefing on Thursday.
Currently an investigation working group is working at the scene.
Earlier, Kazakh media outlets reported that an attack on border post or hazing was considered as a possible version of the incident.
