Kazakh city of Almaty will host the meeting of representatives of the CIS executive bodies in the field of space activity on June 8, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported referring to the Kazakh space agency Kazcosmos reported.
Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee will take part in the meeting.
"Within the meeting the parties will discuss development of multilateral cooperation in space activities, including creation of the interstate system of space monitoring of emergency situations in the CIS, creation of ground-base infrastructure which will use the signal of the GLONASS system, cooperation in space research and other issues," the agency said.
Moreover, the representatives of the delegations CIS member states will visit the objects of space infrastructure in Kazakhstan, located in the city of Almaty.
