A hydrogeological expedition of Turkmenistan’s Turkmengeology State Corporation discovered new deposits of fresh water in Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.
So, in Gurbansoltan eje district of Dashoguz region of Turkmenistan two new deposits of a freshwater that will help to solve the problem of reliable supply of clean drinking water in the number of settlements were discovered.
In addition, a new fresh water deposit was discovered in the Serdar district of the Balkan region.
Also, the discovery of a new fresh water Deposit in the Magtymguly district of the Balkan region will provide drinking water to the population of some settlements.
Earlier, Turkmengeology conducted work on searching for underground waters, as well as clarifying their reserves in the Akhal region of Turkmenistan.
To obtain the necessary data, more than 700 wells were drilled in different years, using which the ground water level is monitored.
It should be noted that Turkmengeology also works on studying the geological structure of reservoirs, identifying hydrocarbon resources.
