Fazliddin Salomov has been dismissed from the post of chairman of the board of Uzbekenergo JSC, an energy company in Uzbekistan, by the decree of the country’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a source in the company told Trend.
Ulugbek Mustafaev has been appointed new chairman of the energy company.
Fazliddin Salomov, who held this post since September 2016, was dismissed due to shortcomings in resolving the issues related to the reduction of accounts receivable for the supply of electricity in the Uzbek domestic market.
Ulugbek Mustafaev since 2016 worked as deputy head of the administration of Uzbekistan’s Jizzakh region.
