BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 30. Uzbekistan has exported textile products worth $1.9 billion from January through July 2022, which is an increase of 19.2 percent compared to the same period last year,Trend reports via the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
In the structure of exports of textile products, the main share is occupied by cotton yarn (51.3 percent), as well as finished knitwear and garments (25.1 percent).
From January through July 2022, more than 494 types of textile products were exported to 67 countries.
During this period, most of the Uzbek textile products were exported to Russia ($698.3 million).
According to forecasts, export deliveries are expected to grow to $7 billion by 2025.
