BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. Uzbekneftegaz JSC is considering cooperation with the World Bank on solar and wind energy projects, as well as hydrogen production, Trend reports via the company.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Bekhzod Usmanov held a meeting with representatives of the World Bank's business mission on energy.
The company is currently working on reforming and transforming the oil and gas industry in Uzbekistan based on the recommendations of the World Bank.
During a meeting with WB specialists, a roadmap was discussed in the field of reforming the gas sector and developing low-carbon hydrogen production in the country.
The parties also considered issues on the introduction of advanced technological solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve the efficiency of manufacturing enterprises.
