Baku, Azerbaijan, April 24

By Elnur Baghishov – Trend:

The split of the Iranian Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade will not make any changes in the development of export, Iranian former Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said.

Over the past 90 years, the issue of split and merger of organizations and ministries has been repeatedly raised, Nematzadeh added, Trend reports referring to Tasnim News Agency.

He added that however, economic problems have never been resolved in the specified spheres and there are still problems.

The main problem is the way of considering these issues. It is possible to hope for solving these problems simply by changing the way of considering these issues, Nematzadeh said.

An important aspect is that export is the basis of all programs in the Iranian economy, he added.

The issue of split of the Iranian Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and re-establishment of the Ministry of Commerce has been on the agenda recently, Nematzadeh said.

After the bill on split of ministries has been approved by the Iranian Parliamentary Committee on Industry and Mines, the issue has become more vital, he said.

The Iranian Ministry of Commerce merged with the Ministry of Industry and Mine in 2011 as part of the government's plan and the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has been established.
