Turkish foreign and economy minister to attend Lebanon donor's conference

(todayszaman) - Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah GГјl will visit Paris, Brussels and Davos to participate in international conferences. The first stop will reportedly be the International Donors Conference for Lebanon in Paris on Jan. 25.

He will also be in Brussels on Jan. 26 for the NATO Foreign Ministers meeting. Foreign ministers of the 26 NATO member states are going to discuss topics including Afghanistan and Kosovo. US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will participate in the meetings in Paris and Brussels, reports Trend.

Foreign Minister GГјl is going to represent Turkey at the World Economic Forum in Davos Jan. 26-27. GГјl is expected to address a session on the political future of Turkey. In the past, the function was fulfilled by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip ErdoДџan. The theme of the Davos meetings was The Changing Balance of Power. Economy Minister Ali Babacan is also expected to accompany GГјl. GГјl is expected to go to the US in the beginning of February. Foreign ministry sources reported that efforts were underway.
