Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said he is not going to ever again run for the presidency, News-Armenia reported quoting Armenian president's press service.
"I officially declare that I will never again run for the post of Armenia's president," Sargsyan said at a meeting with the members of professional committee on implementation of constitutional reforms.
He also said he will not run for prime minister's post either, if a parliamentary government model will be adopted following the final discussions on constitutional reforms.
Sargsyan has served as Armenia's president since 2008. Last year, he was re-elected for a second term.
