A grenade thrown at a pop concert in north-east Thailand killed three people and injured 40 others, in an attack blamed on teenage gangs, reports said Sunday.
Police said a teenager hurled the grenade into a crowd at Sirimonglol Temple in Bone Namai village of Nong Bua Lamphu province, 450 kilometres north-east of Bangkok, at about 11 pm Saturday, dpa reported referring to The Nation online news service.
Police said the attack was the end result of brawls between two rival teenage gangs attending the concert. One suspect was arrested.
