The Tajik and Kyrgyz local authorities and law enforecement representatives held a meeting on Wendsday to share experience and knowledge and develop bilateral transboundary cooperation, Asia-Plus reported on Thursday.
During the meeting the representatives of Tajik Sogd and Kyrgyz Batken oblasts discussed the results of the 2012 cooperation plan implementation and determined a cooperation plan for further 5 years.
The event was organized by the EU-UNDP common activity and the organizers believe it will be effective in the development of border cooperation and mutual understanding of local societies of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
