SUMGAYIT, Azerbaijan, October 24. Novus Plastica LLC, which produces polymer additives in Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, will export 60 percent of its output, director and co-founder of the LLC Farid Jafarov told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, the remaining 40 percent of the produced products cover the entire demand for the domestic market.
"Currently, we have sent test products to potential buyers," he emphasized.
Novus Plastica LLC was granted the status of a resident of Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park in August 2020. The enterprise built in the industrial park on 3.5 hectares produces two types of products: black carbon concentrate additives for polyethylene pipes and polyethylene coatings used in industrial packaging. In addition to the realization of products manufactured with the use of advanced Italian technologies on the domestic market, it is also planned to export them to Türkiye and CIS countries. Up to 50 people will be provided with permanent jobs at the enterprise, with an investment capital of over 12.1 million manat ($7.1 million).
Novus Plastica LLC will use products from SOCAR Polymer LLC and Azerikimya Production Association as raw materials.
