Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / A soldier of the Azerbaijan National Army has been killed on the Armenian-Azerbaijani frontline.
On 4 September, divisions of the Armenian Armed Forces located in the occupied Garakhanbayli village of Fizuli District of Azerbaijan, fired at Azerbaijani positions in the Yukhari Garakhanbayli village of the same district.
Ismayil Huseynov, a 19 year old Azerbaijani soldier, died in the firing. He was called up to military service by the Military Commissariat of Khanlar District in west Azerbaijan.
The Defense Ministry has confirmed the facts. Huseynov was heavily injured and died on the way to the hospital.
The National Army of Azerbaijan retaliated and no casualties were reported.
