Georgian Consulate in Turkey to investigate traffic accident, killing 4 Georgians

One of four Georgians, who died during a traffic accident in the Turkish city of Riz, has still not been able to be identified, the Georgian Foreign Minister, Grigol Vashadze, said at a news conference on Sept. 7.

One of four Georgians, who died during a traffic accident in the Turkish city of Riz, has still not been able to be identified, the Georgian Foreign Minister, Grigol Vashadze, said at a news conference on Sept. 7.

Two Georgians, injured in the traffic accident, are in hospital.

Vashadze said that a suit on the indecent had been filed. He expressed his confidence that the investigation would be conducted objectively and the causes of the accident would be revealed.

"Our consulate in Turkey is in close contact with the Turkish law enforcement agencies. We will keep this matter on control till the end of the investigation," said the Georgian Foreign Minister.
