President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on 9 September received Gianluidji Masha, Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan, on completion of his diplomatic mission, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
President Aliyev reminded his fruitful trips to Italy, the meetings with the Prime Minister and President of Italy, expressing hope for further mutual cooperation between the two countries.
The Head of State noted Ambassador's worthy contribution to the development of bilateral relations and wished success to Gianluidji Masha in his future diplomatic activity.
Italy gives special importance to relations with Azerbaijan, Ambassador of Italy said, expressing confidence for development of bilateral ties even more. The Ambassador expressed gratitude for high estimation given to his activity in the country.
