President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received World Bank`s Regional Director for the South Caucasus Henry Kerali.
Henry Kerali congratulated the Head of State on the launch of Azerbaijan`s first communication satellite, hailing it as a remarkable event for the country.
The World Bank`s Regional Director praised the opening of the State Agency for Public Services and Social Innovations, ASAN, service centers in Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev said successive measures would be taken in the field of information and communication technologies and social services sector in Azerbaijan.
They underlined the importance of ongoing joint projects in Azerbaijan, in particular in the country`s districts.
They also discussed prospects for cooperation between the country and the Bank.
