The state-supported entrepreneurs must understand their social responsibility and contribute to the development of small business in Azerbaijan, MP Aydin Huseynov told Trend Jan. 30.
A conference on the fourth year of implementation of the state program for socio-economic development of regions of Azerbaijan in 2014-2018 has been recently held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, heads of executive bodies of several regions, and others delivered speeches at the conference.
Huseynov said the state program for socio-economic development of regions, initiated by President Aliyev and successfully implemented, is a perfect economic strategy.
He added that the implementation of state programs aimed at socio-economic development of regions ensured the proper allocation of oil revenues, the renovation of infrastructure and, in general, the development of the country's economy.
"Over the past 14 years, the Azerbaijani economy has increased by 3.2 times,” he said.
