BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. Russian peacekeepers were temporarily deployed in Karabakh region of Azerbaijan on the basis of a tripartite statement and continue their activities there, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told reporters, Trend reports.
He noted that the peacekeepers perform their functions.
"Of course, some questions arise periodically, mainly related to presence of Armenian armed forces in Karabakh region and illegal visits to these territories,” he noted.
“The issue is raised and discussed in such cases, both at the command level of peacekeepers and at other levels. Azerbaijani side is committed to resolving issues in this area," Bayramov added.
