The Central Election Committee (CEC) will hold casting of lots in relation to the candidates’ free propaganda on TV channels on Saturday, the CEC told Trend. In accordance with the articles 77.2, 80.1, 80.4, 80.5 - 80.7 and 155.3 of the Elections Code, candidates balloting in the elections receive free time on TV channels of the TV and Radio Broadcast JSC. .
The casting of lots may be attended by parties and election blocs with candidates registered in over 60 constituencies under the Election Code. Therefore, the authoritative representatives of the parties New Azerbaijan and Liberal, as well as the blocs �Freedom’ and �New Policy’ are invited to the event.
Registered candidates, authorized people of political parties and blocs, citizens and international observers, media representatives can participate at the casting of lots.
