Constitution Court adopts results of polls in 115 constituencies

On Thursday the Constitution Court of Azerbaijan made a sentence on adoption of the results of general results of the 6 November elections. Farhad Abdullayev, the chairman of the Constitution Court, who chaired the hearings, announced on the sentence.

At the sentence of the Constitution Court the results of the Second Surakhani Constituency 31, the Fourth SumgayitвЂ"Absheron Constituency 44, the Jalilabad-Masally-Bilasuvar 69, Gedabay Constituency 103, the Kazakh-Tovuz-Agstafa Constituency 106, and Agdam Village Constituency 19 were annulled. The resultsof the polling were confirmed on the rest constituencies.

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) annulled the results of polls in 4 constituencies вЂ" The Second Binagadi 9, the Second Nizami (Ganja) 38, the Second Sumgayit 42, the Zakatala 110. The Constitution Court left in force a resolution by the CEC on the constituencies. Thus, the results on 6 constituencies were annulled by the Constitution Court, 4 constituencies by the CEC. In general the results of poll in 10 of 125 constituencies were annulled.

The results of the poling were cancelled in the Constituency 31, where Ali Karimli (opposition candidate) was a leader, constituency 44 вЂ" Tofik Husseynli (ruling New Azerbaijan Party), constituency 69 вЂ" Gulamhuseyn Alibayli (opposition candidate), constituency 103, constituency 106 вЂ" Ilgar Gilijov (ruling New Azerbaijan Party), constituency 119 вЂ" Bakhtiyar Sadikhov (ruling New Azerbaijan Party),
