Noursultan Nazarbayev: CIS Has a Huge Integration Potential in the Future
CIS has a huge integration potential that we shall implement in the future, Noursultan Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan President, said to the journalists today summarizing the results of the CIS summit being held in Minsk, Trend reports referring to BELTA.
The current situation with CIS is not a result of the integration. Most of the adopted documents within CIS have not been implemented, he said. Kazakhstan President said that the present summit allowed discussion on the future of CIS. On the whole, the parties were common in the opinion that the efficiency of the Commonwealth should be increased, and that they should give a new impetus to CIS, he said.
According to Mr. Nazarbayev, the meeting has been held in the atmosphere of a mutual understanding. I am sure that the implementation of agreements and decisions will allow CIS to continue integration processes, he said.
