The Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary organized an official reception dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, the embassy told Trend.
According to the report, the reception was attended by officials of Hungary, representatives of the diplomatic corps in Budapest as well as representatives of the Azerbaijani community.
In his speech, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hungary Vilayat Guliyev spoke about the role of Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan's history, the work undertaken by him during the Soviet period as well as during the years of independence of Azerbaijan.
Then, the audience watched a documentary "The story of one envy."
The presentation of commemorative stamps, made in conjunction with the Post Embassy of Hungary and devoted to the 90th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, took place as a part of the reception.
