BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 17. The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Spain has been actively growing since 2018, while making a sharp jump last year, the source at Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, told Trend.
According to statistics, the trade turnover between the two countries last year amounted to more than 59.1 million euros, which is almost 14 times more than in 2018 (4.2 million euros).
Furthermore, despite the huge distance between the countries, Turkmenistan and Spain have strong economic cooperation, since the volume of trade transactions between the two countries from the beginning of 2018 to the end of 2023 amounted to more than 136.3 million euros.
The largest trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Spain over the years occurred last year, and the smallest in 2018.
