ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, May 17. Turkmenistan sells another large batch of fuel to entrepreneurs from Afghanistan on its State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange, Trend reports.
According to the exchange, Turkmenistan sold L-0.5-62 diesel fuel to Afghan enterprises for roughly $16.3 million.
Concurrently, Afghan entrepreneurs paid more than $1 million for TS-1 aviation fuel from Turkmenistan on the commodities exchange.
All the fuel sold on the exchange to Afghan entrepreneurs was produced at the enterprises of Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is endeavoring to enhance its oil refining sector, with a focus on modernizing its plants and integrating state-of-the-art technologies to enhance the effectiveness of refining procedures and the caliber of final outputs.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation for export-import operations.
