BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. Azerbaijani citizens purchased 223 real estate objects in Türkiye from January through April 2024, which is 38 fewer than in the same period last year, the statistics of Türkiye's General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre said, Trend reports.
According to the information, in April this year, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 54 real estate objects in Türkiye (as of April 2023).
Additionally, it should be noted that in April 2024, 75,569 apartments were purchased in Türkiye, which is 11.8 percent less than in April 2023.
The information notes that 355,173 apartments were purchased in Türkiye from January through April 2024, which is 3.7 percent less than in the same period of 2023.
A total of 1,272 apartments were sold to foreign nationals in Türkiye in April 2024, which is 50.3 percent less than in the same month of 2023.
However, foreign nationals purchased 6,957 apartments in Türkiye from January through April this year, down 48.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
