ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, May 18. Turkmenistan plans to create an enterprise for the production of elevators, their repair, and their maintenance, Trend reports.
The Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan, along with members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, is awaiting proposals to create an enterprise to produce, repair,, and maintain elevators for residential and administrative buildings, according to an official source.
This enterprise will be created jointly with the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan and members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, with a share of 49 percent and 51 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan is actively developing new enterprises and promoting an import substitution policy in all sectors of the economy.
The country encourages private investment, provides tax incentives, and implements advanced technologies to reduce dependence on imports and increase export potential. These measures are aimed at diversifying the economy, creating jobs, and ensuring sustainable economic growth.
