Türkiye sees growth in value of chemicals export to Azerbaijan for 2M2023

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 10. The value of chemical exports from Türkiye to Azerbaijan increased from January through February 2023, Turkish Trade Ministry told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.

According to the ministry, this figure amounted to $76.9 billion, up by 15.1 percent on annual basis.

In February this year, Türkiye exported chemicals worth $38.7 million, which is growth by 7.4 percent compared to the same month in 2022, the ministry said.

Meanwhile, the total value of chemical exports from Türkiye equaled $2.3 billion, decreasing by 7.4 percent on annual basis.

From January through February 2023, Türkiye exported chemicals worth $4.5 billion, which is 0.5 percent less compared to the same period in 2022.

The country exported $33.5 billion worth of chemicals over the past 12 months (from February 2022 through February 2023), the ministry added.

In 2022, Türkiye exported chemicals also in the amount of $33.5 billion, which was growth by 31.9 percent compared to 2021.
