Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 July / Trend / Azersun Holding began to establish a plant of repeated production of paper garbage in Azerbaijan, the company said.
Investments to construct the plant with the reproduction capacity of 200 tons a day and 60,000 tons a year, comprise €30mln.
A waste paper reproducing plant, which is to be built in the area of 20 h in the industrial zone of Sumgayit, will be put into exploitation in first half of 2009.
"Along with covering the country's paper demand, these products will also meet the ecological requirements by 100%," Azersun said.
Azersun company believes that through commissioning this plan Azerbaijan will be able to insure itself against the price rise of paper products and strengthen its leading position in the region, as well as, increase its export potential.
The plant is in condition to cover the demand of not only Azerbaijan, but also Georgia, Turkmenistan and Dagestan. A total of 30% of the produce will be directed at covering the domestic demand and the rest 70% will exported to neighboring countries.
The new plant will enable to open more than 1,000 jobs.
