Turkish Foreign Trade Undersecretary Tuncer Kayalar has arrived in Ashgabat to participate in Ashgabat Eхpo Build 2009 opened on Feb. 5. The exhibition demonstrated Turkish construction sector.
Roughly 150 Turkish companies and firms will participate in the exhibition. It will run to Feb. 7. The exposition includes construction technologies and equipment, construction materials and tools, electricity and lighting. Diplomas and certificates will be delivered as a result of the exhibition.
The meeting proves consecutive development of Turkmen profitable relations with Turkey, as well as intensifying mutual trust, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's speech to exhibition participants says.
According to Turkmen President, fraternal Turkmen and Turkish peoples unite common historic roots, nations built by oguzs' descendants for many centuries, our ancestry Seldzhuk-bek, Togrul-bek, Chagri bek, Alp Arslan, Soltan Sanzhar.
"Many industrial, social, cultural and production enterprises, textile complexes, trade centers have been built and are being built in the country under Turkish partners' active participation," President's message says.
Roughly 500 enterprises with Turkish capital were registered in Turkmenistan. About 35 percent of all presenting foreign companies. Turkish companies implement over 800 projects, including textile industry. Mutual trade of both countries is estimated in the amount of $1.5 billion for the recent years.
"Turkmenistan experiencing construction boost is interested in attracting advanced technologies and foreign experience," Turkmen specialists said.
