The South Korean Hyundai company will deliver 490 new Super Aero City passenger buses to Turkmenistan in 2009, the Automobile Transport Ministry said.
The contract's sum is $46.3 million.
Ten Hyundai new Super Aero City buses passed tests in severe climatic conditions in the country.
In early 2009, the ministry ordered buses for long-distance transportation. The deal envisaged delivering 30 Hyundai Universe Luxury and Hyundai Universe Noble buses, as well as spare parts and active storage.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov controls transport issues in the country.
