Annually citizens of Kazakhstan invest roughly 200 million dollars in foreign clinics, National Medical Holding Corporate Governance Deputy Chairman Zheksen Zhalkibaev said to Trend .
"Annually Kazakhs spend 200 million dollars in foreign clinics, including Israel, Europe and the U.S.," Zhalkibaev said.
Presently, one of the major challenges of the holding is to reorient these cash flows.
"200 million dollar is our annual budget, which the State invests in such a large project, as our holding company. And it is very important that these funds remained in Kazakhstan," Zhalkibaev emphasized.
One way of achieving this objective id to attract professionals, like Kazakh and foreign. This project was named 100 key personnel.
"Professional physicians were invited to the holding from all regions of the country. However, their number has not reached 100 people," said Zhalkibaev.
The management of the holding intends to invite some 20 foreign experts in the near future.
Company's some premises will be transferred to foreign companies, said Zhalkibaev.
"We intend to bring advanced technology to our holding to benefit from services," Zhalikbaev added.
Holding offers service to the population, but not only to attract business customers.
The National Medical Holding was established on May 13, 2008. The idea of creation belongs to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. Today holding company includes a number of premises- National Research Center of Maternity and Childhood, National Rehabilitation Center, Kazakh Academy of Medicine, National Research Center of neurosurgery, as well as Republican Diagnostic Center.
