Kazakhstan reduces prices for air tickets

The Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications' civil aviation committee held several meetings with heads of Kazakh airlines. They discussed price cutting for air tickets, the Kazakh Ministry of Transport and Communications told Trend .

"Leading airlines found out opportunity of positive solution of this issue as a result of this work. So, "Air Astana" airline prolonged campaign on tariffs cutting not only in spring but in summer," the ministry said.

A passenger willing to use this service can buy a ticket twice as cheap compared to winter, the ministry said. The only condition is preliminary purchase.

Special tariffs for passengers older than 60 and youth under 25 were introduced. Campaign on free flight to Kazakhstan and CIS countries for veterans of Great Patriotic War will operate the whole year round. 

"Airline Skat decided to reduce prices. Skat is the second airline on air transition in Kazakhstan. The company's tariffs will reduce 5 - 32 percent depending on loading and directions. Youth and pension tariffs were introduced," press-service said.
