Georgia will probably receive half a billion dollars in addition to the $4.5 billion allocated at the Brussels donor conference in 2008, Georgian Finance Minister Kakha Baindurashvili said before the conference's national workshop.
He added that, according to preliminary data, donors may add another half a billion dollars to the already allocated financial assistance.
"This process is underway," the minister said. "Not only financial assistance was provided at the conference. It was a large political signal, so history does not end with the use of those resources."
