By Elena Kosolapova - Trend: Kazakh delegation headed by Chairman of the Board of National Atomic Company Kazatomprom Nurlan Kapparov visited Doha to hold negotiations with management of Qatar Solar Energy company, on January 25-26, Kazakh Foreign Ministry reported on Jan. 28.
"During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation in the field of renewable energy and creation of a joint venture to produce components for solar panels," the ministry said.
This assumes the use of the resources available in Kazakhstan in the form of quartz, infrastructure and photovoltaic plants.
Qatar Solar Energy has a solar cell and module plant with 300 megawatts capacity.
