Huawei Uzbekistan and the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME) have presented a pilot project to introduce innovative technologies in agriculture and irrigation systems, Trend reports with reference to Huawei Uzbekistan.
The opening of the TIIAME demo showroom took place on September 28, where a pilot project of "smart" agriculture was presented using control systems, monitoring and data processing based on 5G technologies, a drone, smart sensors and a platform for intelligent processing of big data.
This project was implemented within the framework of the memorandum between Huawei and TIIAME, and with the technical support of the national operator - UZTELECOM in the Urta-Chirchik district of the Tashkent region at the Scientific and training ground of TIIAME.
The project was implemented in order to increase the rational use of natural resources and the efficiency of monitoring the harvest through the introduction of innovative technologies in the field of agriculture and in the water management system.
