IRICA unveils details of Iran’s exports to Azerbaijan from Kaveh Industrial City & Special Economic Zone

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 4. A total of 7,024 tons of goods worth $2.52 million were exported to Azerbaijan from Kaveh Industrial City and Special Economic Zone in Iran’s Markazi Province, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), according to the official statistics of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), obtained by Trend.

The main exported goods for the reporting period were oil products, various types of adhesives, various glass and mirrors, water heaters, boiler radiators, steel and iron ingots, paraffin, white cement, and etc.

In total, Iran's trade turnover with Azerbaijan for the last Iranian year amounted to about 852,000 tons worth about $608 million.

The trade turnover between the two countries increased by 93 percent in value compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021).
