Georgia, Tbilisi / Trend corr N. Kirtskhalia / Georgian Economic Development Ministry and the administration of Tbilisi city are ready to receive the applications for purchase of Tbilisi's Water LLC (provides the capital of the country with water), which includes Zhinvali hydroelectric power station with the capacity of 130 MW, the spokesman for the company, Natiya Kukuladze, reported.
"The Ministry and the city administration invite potential investors to supply their proposals on purchase of Tbilisi's Water company and Zhingvali hydroelectric power station," Kukuladze said.

Ten years ago French General Societe expressed a desire to purchase the company. However, the deal was not arranged as the opposition opposed privatization of the strategic object.
