Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. U.Ismaylova / It is necessary to adopt the bill on 'Insurance' in order to begin the work of the Azerbaijani Actuaries Association, Tofik Memtiyev, a member of the Association and advisor in the Azerbaijani Financial Ministry, said.
"We will hold trainings and workshops with officials of insurance companies for the development of actuaries in Azerbaijan," Memtiyev said.
An actuary is a statistician who computes insurance risks and premiums.
The Azerbaijani Actuaries Association was registered with the Azerbaijani Justice Ministry on 25 May this year.
