In January-July, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 3.99 billion cubic meters of gas compared to 4.14 billion cubic meters in January-July 2011, SOCAR said on Wednesday.
According to the report, in July SOCAR produced 578.1 million cubic meters of gas compared to 605.2 million cubic meters in July 2011.
According to SOCAR, in January-July, the country produced about 15.53 billion cubic meters compared to 15.16 billion cubic meters in January-July 2011. In July, the figure hit 2.33 billion cubic meters compared to 2.24 billion cubic meters in July 2011.
Last year, Azerbaijan produced approximately 26 billion cubic meters of gas. In 2011, 7.08 billion cubic meters of gas accounted for SOCAR.
