Hungarian MOL Group is currently nearing the end on the process of well completion at the Rozkovskoye Field in Kazakhstan, the company told Trend.
MOL Group is in partnership with KMG EP and FIOC in its joint operational company, Uralsk Oil and Gas (UOG) in the Fedorovskiy block, where preparations are currently ongoing for the Trial Production Project.
MOL Group, as the technical leader in the project, in cooperation with its partners in delivering the roadmap towards first gas. In 2019, Rozhkovskoye Field Development Plan was approved by Kazakhstan Central Commission for Exploration and Development of minerals.
The well completion is expected to be finished in September 2021. Currently 4 out of 5 wells have been completed and the completions works are ongoing on the 5th final well.
After the well completion, the Rozhkovskoye Field Development Plan will enter the next stage - EPCC (Engineering Procurement Construction Commissioning) for the surface facilities construction, which is the final piece of the project to deliver first gas.
