The official added that with the construction and launch of this unit, the desalination process at the Danan oil field desalination unit will increase from 55,000 barrels daily to 65,000 barrels. This will create condition to increase extraction from the Danan oil field.

As reported, oil extraction from the Danan oil field, which discovered in 2007, began in 2014. At present, daily 9,000 barrels of oil are extracted from the field, and this extraction is estimated to be reached 19,000 barrels daily.
