Foreign citizens spent 862.8 million manats in Azerbaijan through bank cards in January-August 2019, which is 2.9 percent less than in the same period of 2018, according to the Export Review of the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications, Trend reports on Sept. 27.
The volume of foreign citizens' transactions with bank cards in the country amounted to 137.4 million manats in August (a decrease of 2.6 percent compared to August 2018), said the report.
Foreign citizens spent 887.7 million manats in Azerbaijan by using bank cards in January-August 2018, and 703.9 million manats in January-August 2017.
