Iran to offer cement via Mercantile exchange

TEHRAN, Iran, Aug. 18

The operations manager of the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) announced the necessary arrangements for the offering of all the country's cement via IME.

The offering of the country's agricultural products via IME has been raised, Abbas Yaghoubi said, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.

He went on to say that the IME has to set a based offering volume for every cement production factory.

“So far, 56 companies out of 78 cement companies have been admitted to offering their products via IME,” he said.

Other companies should also accept and submit documents. He further explained the situation of cement offering via IME.

“The trend of cement offering in the IME is upward,” said Yaghoubi. “The offering of cement via IME started from 100,000 tons per week, has reached one million tons per week."
