The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) disclosed the portfolio of projects in Azerbaijan as of early August 2021, Trend reports on Sept.3 referring to the EBRD.
According to the bank, the portfolio amounts to nearly 1.13 billion euros and is intended for the implementation of 35 projects.
Most of the projects (78 percent, or 882 million euro) are for investments in sustainable infrastructure, 20 percent, or about 226 million euro - for investments in industry, trade, and agriculture, and two percent, or 20 million euro - for investments in financial institutions.
In general, so far the bank has invested more than 3 billion euros in Azerbaijan on 177 projects.
The EBRD has been cooperating with Azerbaijan since 1992.
