Uzbekistan's payment system UZCARD has signed agreements with two Russian companies - Innopolis and Innotech, Trend reports with reference to the press service of UZCARD.
The signing of the agreements took place in the Russian city of Kazan at the international forum Kazan Digital Week 2021.
With the support of IT Park Uzbekistan, UZCARD signed an agreement with the "SEZ Innopolis" - the management company specializing in innovations.
The agreement is aimed at cooperation in solving scientific and commercial problems. Its main goal is the implementation of joint projects in the areas of innovative technologies and venture capital investments in Russia and Uzbekistan.
According to the agreement, UZCARD and Innopolis will cooperate in: assistance in attracting Russian and foreign investment in promising innovative projects and start-ups in Uzbekistan; creation of a digital platform environment with the function of social support for the development of innovative start-ups; acceleration programs for Russian startups in Uzbekistan and for Uzbek startups at Innopolis; provision of UZCARD technological infrastructure for Russian startups.
Moreover, UZCARD signed a commercial cooperation agreement with the Innotech group of companies, which develops solutions for the digitalization of the banking sector.
The purpose of the agreement is to implement joint innovative projects in the digital economy. The main areas of cooperation include: opening of the Innotech development center in Uzbekistan; joint creation and implementation of solutions in the areas of financial technology, big data, and artificial intelligence technologies; development of a venture and innovation ecosystem and development and support of digital projects; creation of a center of expertise for fast approbation of technological solutions, as well as assistance in their scaling.
