Azerpoct has started installing equipment in post offices in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to implement a mail tracking system, Chairman of the RCC Postal Services Novruz Mammadov told Trend.
Mammadov said after all the operations are completed within two months, the system will be put into trial operation.
Today, the technical equipment will be installed in all regional post offices.
The system provides for assigning a unique postal ID which will be issued to the sender at the post offices.
The system will be integrated into Azerpoct's official website.
