Chairman of the Kazakh Parliament Senate Kairat Mami received Jordanian Ambassador to Astana Slaiman Arabiat, the Senate said on Wednesday.
Mami said that Jordan an important partner of Kazakhstan in the Middle East.
"The 20th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic relations between the two countries has been marked this year," Mami said. "As a result of significant efforts of the two countries' presidents, our relations are developing dynamically, reaching new heights."
The sides have stressed the importance of further developing the close inter-parliamentary relations and discussed the prospects of the business, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
