ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 20. Turkmenistan's passport ranks 87th among 227 countries and territories, according to a recent rating by the UK-based Henley & Partners consulting firm, Trend reports.
The passport rating improved by four positions compared to the previous edition of the Henley Passport Index.
Citizens of this country can use the visa-free travel regime in 50 directions.
The top-ranking passport in the list is Singapour, granting its holders visa-free entry or visa-on-arrival access to 192 destinations. This is significantly higher than Afghanistan, which occupies the last position with a 165-point difference.
The Henley & Partners Passport Index analyzes the visa rules of 227 countries and territories of the world and ranks them by the number of visa-free entry countries.
